• Shortening Shims are precision die cut to fit with close tolerances around the shoulder screw shank to fit under the screw head. contains 3 thicknesses: 0.005" from 1095 blue tempered spring steel and 0.015" and 0.032" from 1075 tempered spring steel. Fits six different shoulder screw sizes from 1/4" to 3/4" diameter. Precision Brand® 270 Piece Shortening Shim contains 15 each of the following sizes in three thicknesses (0.005", 0.015", and 0.032"): 0.252" I.D. x 0.366" O.D., 0.313" I.D. x 0.424" O.D., 0.376" I.D. x 0.557" O.D., 0.501" I.D. x 0.738" O.D., 0.626" I.D. x 0.870" O.D., and 0.751" I.D. x 0.995" O.D.
