description
- NACHI Ceramic Hybrid Deep-Groove Ball Bearings have Silicone Nitride (ceramic) non-conductive rolling elements which prevent electric arcing damage that can occur from current passing through the bearing. This is primarily an issue in electric motors operated by frequency control. Ceramic Hybrid bearings also boast a 25% higher limiting speed due to the reduced weight of the balls compared to steel.
features
- Ceramic balls are non-conductive, lightweight, more rigid, and are more resistant to thermal expansion compared to steel. NACHI Ceramic Hybrid bearings are availible with 2 Shields (ZZE), C3 clearance, and Polyrex EM grease as standard.
