- Transition base kits allow a smaller reducer to drop into the bolt hole pattern of the next size larger reducer. This scenario is possible in many replacement situations because of the increases in the Tigear-2® output torque capacity. The base will locate the output shaft in the same position as the one from the larger reducer being replaced.
