description

  • DOT FMVSS 106 push-to-connect fitting provide a simple, quick connection of components to flexible tubing for the automotive and truck markets. A tight, leak-free tubing connection is achieved by simply pushing the tubing into the fitting. The fitting can easily be removed from the tubing by pressing the plastic release cap. Connections and disconnections require little force and no tools. The fitting body is constructed of glass-reinforced nylon, while the threaded components are nickel-plated brass. Elastomer seals are low temperature Buna-Nitrile. Tubing should comply with SAE standards, which also meets NHTSA FMVSS 106 requirements.
