- GEARWRENCH soft-face hammers are designed to accept an assortment of threaded soft-face tips, letting you customize the hammer for a variety of applications. The head and fiberglass handle are permanently bonded together and designed to balance the hammer for comfortable use. Interchangeable soft-face tips are color coded, allowing you to easily identify the degree of hardness and select the proper tip per application. In addition, the tips are non-marring and designed to resist chipping and splitting, while also reducing the noise from striking metal objects.
