- DG5V-8 models are two-stage directional control valves having an integrally-mounted wet armature solenoid pilot valve. These valves are generally used to control the movement of a work cylinder or the rotation of a fluid motor.

- Periodic inspection is required to determine if the unit is in proper working order by inspecting and replacing the urethane seal, inspecting to see if material buildup has occurred and ensuring proper adjustment and tightness of all adjustable bolts.
