- CS015-AEGIS® Colloidal Silver Shaft Coating is recommended for all applications. The silver coating enhances the conductivity of the shaft and also lessens the amount of corrosion that can impede the grounding path.
- EP2400 AEGIS® Conductive Epoxy is used to install the AEGIS® Shaft Grounding Ring without drilling and tapping into the motor end bell. Simply remove paint on the motor end bracket where the AEGIS® Ring or brackets will be attached. These areas must be clean and free of any coatings, paint or other nonconductive material. Apply epoxy to backside of ring or bracket and press to motor end bracket.
